Quest Search and selection is partnering with an international premium retailer, who is looking for a Store manager responsible for leading all aspects of store operations, driving sales performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Leads and develops a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence, visual merchandising standards, and premium brand presentation are consistently maintained within the high profile west-end store.
This international brand has been established for over 80 years and has continued success in Europe & Asia. This store provides an exciting array of luxury products and a premium experience with their carefully edited collection of their European merchandise including handbags, accessories & travel.
Responsibilities of this Store Manager position:
• Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team while managing recruitment, performance, scheduling, and HR processes to support store success.
• Drive exceptional customer service by coaching the team on effective selling techniques, delivering a premium shopping experience, and building customer loyalty through personalised service and CRM excellence.
• Achieve sales targets by monitoring KPIs, analysing sales trends, and managing store performance within budget.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, health & safety standards, and company policies while maintaining an organised and efficient store environment.
• Oversee inventory, stock control, product availability, pricing, and stock movements while minimising shrinkage.
• Maintain strong visual merchandising standards, execute promotional campaigns effectively, and identify local marketing opportunities to increase sales.
• Communicate business updates, market insights, and performance expectations while acting as the link between store operations and management.
• Report directly to the Area Manager, supporting the delivery of commercial and operational objectives.
To be successful in this Store Manager position:
• Ideally having experience as store manager within premium or luxury retail.
• Digitally confident with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, retail systems, POS, mobile technology, WhatsApp, and other digital tools.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while managing performance effectively.
• Ability to achieve targets, analyse KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, lifting and using ladders safely.
• Willingness to travel at least twice a year.
