Stores OperativeLocation: HU7 Area, Hull Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established business based in the HU area of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stores professional with a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence to join a busy and supportive team. The RoleAs a Stores Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of materials and products across the site. You will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production operations, and operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move materials and finished goods • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently • Receiving, checking, and booking in stock deliveries • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch • Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels • Ensuring materials are supplied to production areas as required • Carrying out routine stock checks and cycle counts • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe stores environment • Following all health and safety procedures and company policies • Supporting other warehouse and stores activities as required About You • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential) • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment • Good understanding of stock control and inventory processes • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team • Positive attitude and willingness to support wider operations What's on Offer • Competitive hourly rate • Monday to Friday working hours - 6:00am to 2:30pm • Stable, ongoing work with a reputable employer • Supportive team environment • Opportunity to develop skills and gain further experience Apply NowIf you have a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence and are looking for a Stores Operative role in Hull, we'd love to hear from you.
