HR ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Hull, DN14 (Driver required due to location), 4 days in office, one day home working.
Hours: 09:00 - 17:00.
Salary: £15.40 per hour.
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (initially until end of 2026, with potential extension)
Start Date: ASAP, subject to a 2 stage interview process.
About the RoleOur Client is seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join its HR team, supporting the Services Function and wider Operations and Manufacturing business areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator or HR Assistant looking to broaden their exposure across the full employee lifecycle while gaining valuable experience in Employee Relations, HR systems, and project work.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Administration
• Provide comprehensive HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
• Prepare and maintain employee documentation, contracts, letters, and records.
• Administer reward and benefits processes.
• Ensure all employee records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
HR Systems & Data Management
• Maintain and update HR systems, with a strong focus on data accuracy.
• Produce HR reports and support regular HR metrics reporting.
• Support data audits and identify discrepancies where required.
• Manage employee information within Workday and other HR systems.
Employee Relations Support
• Assist with Employee Relations (ER) administration and case management support.
• Prepare documentation for disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance processes.
• Support HR colleagues with case tracking and record management.
Compliance & Governance
• Handle Subject Access Requests (SARs) in line with GDPR requirements.
• Ensure HR processes remain compliant with company policies and employment legislation.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information.
Projects & Training
• Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training administration and coordination activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the HR function.
Person SpecificationEssential Experience
• Must have experience using 'WorkDay'. Please do not apply if you havent yet used this system.
• Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or similar HR support role.
• Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• Experience managing HR data and maintaining HR systems.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Technical Skills
• Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Excel (including reporting and data management).
• Adobe.
• HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Experience using Workday is a must.

• Process-driven and methodical.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
