Strategic Intelligence, Associate Director - EMEA A growing strategic intelligence firm in London is seeking an Associate Director for their EMEA team. The firm provides a consulting service to business leaders and investors, providing strategic intelligence to enable them to make decisions around transactions, corporate movements, M&A, regulatory, policy, and senior appointments. The role of an Associate Director: Within the firm the Associate Director manages the most demanding engagements. Responsibilities include: Working with deal teams to assess commercial risks for major transactions. Advise on shifting political dynamics. Work with the firms’ network of human sources and global community to gain advice. Identify new human sources to contribute to the network. Manage concurrent complex projects, often necessitating moving between sectors, jurisdictions and subject areas. Conducting enhanced commercial due diligence. Lead execution team and mentor and oversee the work of junior colleagues. Synthesising intelligence into high quality written reports. Managing client engagements including; assessing, debriefing and presenting to c-suite clients. Experience & Qualifications required: Applicants for this role should possess 6-8 years’ experience within strategic intelligence, law, finance, consulting, corporate strategy, government or similar environments. Strong commercial acumen Excellent communications skills, fluency in English language, other European languages would be beneficial. Strong academic background with a passion for writing, reasoning, and learning. Good understanding of political and regulatory trends in Europe.
