Supervising Social Worker - Fostering Peterborough City Council Rate: £39 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sand Martin House, Peterborough Working Pattern: Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join Peterborough City Council's Fostering Service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive fostering team, providing guidance and supervision to foster carers while helping to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people in care. Key Responsibilities • Manage and supervise a caseload of up to 15 fostering households • Complete monthly supervision visits with foster carers • Provide ongoing support, guidance and professional advice to foster families • Attend and contribute to Child Care Reviews, Placement Planning Meetings and other relevant meetings • Complete Foster Carer Annual Reviews • Participate in the fostering team's day duty rota • Undertake safeguarding checks, assessments and risk assessments • Work collaboratively with children's social workers, education professionals and clinical teams • Support placement stability and promote positive outcomes for children in foster care • Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, policies and statutory requirements Requirements • Social Work England Registration • Qualified Social Worker with relevant post-qualified experience • Previous experience within a Fostering Team • Strong assessment, supervision and safeguarding skills • Ability to build effective relationships with foster carers and partner agencies • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Why Work With Eden Brown Synergy?
