Job description

Exciting opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys leading cross-functional projects and ensuring new products are successfully launched from concept through to customer delivery. Acting as the key Supply Chain representative across New Product Development (NPD) and product change initiatives, you will work closely with multiple internal teams to ensure operational readiness, mitigate supply chain risks, and deliver seamless product launches. Client Details We are partnering with a fast-growing brand in the FMCG space in London. Description • Act as the Supply Chain lead across New Product Development (NPD) and product change projects, ensuring operational requirements are considered throughout the project lifecycle. • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful product launches, from initial concept through to first customer delivery. • Assess and manage supply chain readiness, including lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), critical paths, inventory planning, and operational risks. • Partner closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning and Operations teams to support effective scenario planning and launch execution. • Ensure accurate product master data is created, maintained and communicated ahead of product launches. • Coordinate barcode implementation and artwork readiness to ensure compliance and smooth operational execution. • Collaborate with Customer Service and Logistics teams to validate ordering processes and support successful first deliveries to customers. • Conduct post-launch reviews to evaluate data accuracy, operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. • Support a variety of wider supply chain and procurement projects, including repacking, relabelling and other operational improvement initiatives. Profile A successful Supply Chain Projects Lead should have: • Previous experience within Supply Chain, Operations or Project Management, ideally within the FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Consumer Goods sectors. • Experience supporting or leading New Product Development (NPD) or product change projects is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and cross-functional project coordination. • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams across different business functions. • A proactive, collaborative and adaptable approach, with a continuous improvement mindset.
