What to expect as a Supply Teacher • Deliver engaging lessons using the absent teacher's planning. • Supervise and support pupils throughout the school day, including lessons, breaktimes and lunchtime where required. • Maintain excellent classroom behaviour in line with each school's behaviour policy. • Complete day-to-day teaching responsibilities, including registers, assemblies and other routine duties. • Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment whilst following all safeguarding and health and safety procedures. Pay • £155 per day minimum for Early Career Teachers. • £160-£165 per day for Fully Qualified Teachers. The top end of the pay scale is generally offered to teachers willing to travel beyond their preferred distance discussed during registration.
