Job description

Randstad Care are currently working in partnership with an organisation offering high quality residential care for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties with associated challenging behaviour. We are looking for enthusiastic residential childcare workers to work within a residential childrens home, to provide meaningful care and support to young people. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Your role as a Residential Support Worker is to ensure children and young people progress and to achieve their maximum potential. Their team of Residential Support Workers come from all backgrounds and have a wide range of transferable skills from previous environments. Duties • Care Planning - To help achieve the outlined outcomes for each young person as detailed in their care plan and as agreed with the manager. To work with the young person with the planning for now, in the future and for when leaving care. • Safeguarding - To promote every young person's rights, safeguarding their welfare and providing good quality care. Protect young people from harm and enable them to keep themselves safe. • Partnership Working - To promote the practise of working in partnership with young people, their families, social workers and other service providers in order to meet the needs of the young people. • Administration - To ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed to a high standard as per your roles and responsibilities.
