Systemic Family Therapist

The post holder will be responsible for delivering specialist systemic psychotherapy to children, young people and families, drawing upon a robust understanding of systemic theory and evidence-based practice. You will undertake specialist systemic assessments, develop and implement formulations and intervention plans, and work closely with other professionals to ensure coherent and coordinated care. The role includes contributing to safeguarding assessments, undertaking risk assessments, and maintaining high professional and clinical standards in line with relevant legislation, governance processes and professional codes of practice. You will provide systemic consultation and advice to staff from a range of disciplines, helping to enrich shared understandings of complex presentations and enhance the therapeutic environments in which care is delivered. Additionally, you will contribute to service development through participation in audit, research, policy development and service improvement projects, and will support ongoing learning through teaching, supervision and reflective practice.
