Key Responsibilities • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors, landlords, sole traders, and partnerships. • Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns. • Advising clients on personal tax matters and identifying tax-efficient planning opportunities. • Supporting on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and residency-related matters. • Assisting with HMRC enquiries and correspondence. • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery. • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team. • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring compliance across your portfolio. About You • ATT qualified, CTA qualified/part-qualified, or qualified by experience. • Previous personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice. • Strong technical knowledge of personal taxation and self-assessment. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively. • Proactive, ambitious, and keen to develop into a future leadership role.
