Teacher of Design & Technology (DT) - Long-Term Role - Sheffield - September Start Teacher of Design & Technology (DT) - Engineering Specialist Required Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology (DT) to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield on a long-term basis, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic DT teacher with the ability to deliver high-quality lessons across the Design & Technology curriculum, including Engineering at Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential. The Role • Full-time, long-term position starting in September. • Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Deliver Engineering to KS4 students. • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons. • Assess, monitor and report on student progress. • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. • Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental activities. The Ideal Candidate Will Have • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Experience teaching Design & Technology within a UK secondary school. • The ability and confidence to teach Engineering at KS4. • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. • Excellent communication and organisational abilities. • A genuine passion for Design & Technology and raising student achievement. • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
