Elevation HR are delighted to be working with a well-established and progressive manufacturing business in Rotherham as they look to recruit a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be at the heart of the people agenda, delivering a proactive and commercially focused HR service across the Rotherham and Glossop sites. This generalist role offers exposure to the full employee lifecycle and the opportunity to make a real impact on employee experience and business performance. As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:
• Providing proactive HR support and guidance to managers ensuring the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
• Managing end-to-end employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and wellbeing matters
• Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, including shortlisting, interview administration, inductions, probation reviews, and ensuring a positive new starter experience
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring all personnel, training, right-to-work, pension, and payroll-related information is processed efficiently and compliantly
• Supporting attendance management processes, including occupational health referrals, return-to-work meetings, phased returns, and long-term absence case management
• Building strong working relationships with employees and managers, promoting an inclusive culture that values equality, diversity, employee engagement, and wellbeing
• Attending and support formal HR meetings and consultations, taking minutes where required and contributing to organisational change, employee communications, and HR projects.

What we are looking for from a HR Advisor:
• Previous experience of working in fast-paced manufacturing or similiar industry
• Good knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations managing complex casework up to appeal and dismissal.
• Driving licence with access to own car
• Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards this
