EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Permanent, Full-TimeLocation: Barking and Dagenham, East London Salary:£1,800 - £2,200 per month Start Date: Immediate / September Contract:Permanent | Full-time A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner to support children within a Nursery or Reception setting, helping them develop key communication, social, and early learning skills. Working alongside the class teacher and EYFS team, you will help create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. The school has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality Early Years education and offers a supportive leadership team, ongoing professional development, and a collaborative working culture. Key Responsibilities • Support teaching and learning within the EYFS setting • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions • Support children's early reading, phonics, language, and numeracy development • Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development • Complete observations and contribute to children's learning records • Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school team RequirementsEssential: • Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent) • Experience working within an EYFS setting • Good understanding of the EYFS Framework • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) • A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach Desirable: • Experience within a primary school setting • Knowledge of phonics and early intervention programmes • Strong communication and organisational skills • Paediatric First Aid qualification How to ApplyTo apply, please submit your CV.
