About the Role - Teaching Partner - Swindon As a Teaching Partner, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment. The role may include working with individuals or small groups of pupils, including those who may require additional support, helping to ensure all learners can access the curriculum effectively. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation • Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis when required • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and participation • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment • Collaborating with teachers and wider school staff The Ideal Candidate: • Positive, proactive, and adaptable • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • A genuine interest in education and supporting young people • Able to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff • Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not • essential) • Background in education, care, youth work, or similar (beneficial) This role would suit candidates with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or those looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.
