• S1000D Experienced • Defence background experiance • Technical Author Contract Technical Author - End client Defence IR35- inside Contract Length- initially 6 month but likely to be extended £25.50 per hour- Umbrella rate Fully Remote working Have DBS or able to pass We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join a leading defence client. Key responsibilities: • Produce and review high-quality technical documentation using S1000D • Author and edit technical publications using XML editing software • Act as the technical point of contact, ensuring documentation is accurate and delivered to project milestones • Review draft publications for quality, accuracy and compliance • Support documentation processes and continuous improvement initiatives Essential requirements: • Recent S1000D experience (essential) • Experience with XML editing software • Current DBS clearance or ability to pass a DBS check • Able to provide your own Windows 11-compatible IT equipment If you're interested, please send your latest CV to .
