Job description

We're working with a well-established media business to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor on an immediate-start contract to provide short-term sickness cover. This is a hands-on role leading a busy AP function, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running with strong NetSuite experience. Responsibilities: • Supervise and support the AP team, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timescales • Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies and supplier payment terms • Act as the first point of contact for AP-related queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers • Maintain the AP ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up to date • Manage month-end AP activities, including reconciliations, accruals and reporting • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls • Work closely with Procurement and Operations to resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies Requirements: • Previous experience within Accounts Payable, including experience supervising or leading an AP team • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite is essential • Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle would be advantageous • Experience within a media, production or creative business is desirable Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds - we pride ourselves on attracting the best talent for every opportunity through a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
