Temporary Customer Experience Advisor (Complaints) Location: Hybrid (initial training office-based) Contract: Temporary – 8 Weeks Hours: Full Time – 36 hours per week Salary: £19.00 per hour (£34,767 equivalent) Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complex complaints? We're recruiting on behalf of a respected organisation for an experienced Customer Experience Advisor to join their complaints team on an 8-week temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys making a positive difference for customers, and is confident managing complaints through to resolution. The RoleWorking within a busy customer experience team, you'll investigate and resolve customer complaints, taking ownership of cases from start to finish. You'll communicate with empathy, build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, and work collaboratively across the organisation to achieve positive outcomes. You'll identify the root cause of issues, ensure complaints are handled within agreed timescales, maintain accurate case records, and help identify opportunities to improve services and prevent recurring issues. Key Responsibilities • Manage customer complaints through to resolution. • Investigate complex cases and gather relevant information. • Deliver clear, professional and empathetic communication throughout the customer journey. • Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues quickly and effectively. • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems. • Escalate high-risk or sensitive cases where appropriate. • Identify complaint trends and contribute to continuous service improvement. • Ensure all cases are managed in line with relevant policies and procedures. About YouWe're looking for someone who has: • Previous experience handling customer complaints. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Strong problem-solving and investigation abilities. • Experience working with CRM systems. • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. • A proactive approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Experience within housing, property, public sector or regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential. What's on Offer • £19.00 per hour. • 36-hour working week: • Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:15pm • Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm • Immediate start available. • Initial office-based induction, with hybrid working/flexibility potentially available depending on experience and business requirements. • Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a well-established customer-focused organisation.
