Tender Manager WTG – Offshore Wind Industry Location: Copenhagen HQ, Norwich, Vejle Salary: Competitive Vacancy Type: Full-time Are you passionate about the various phases of the sales process from pre-qualification until contract signature? Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Tender Manager to help us securing work for the industry’s largest fleet of jack-up offshore wind installation vessels. What will you do? As our new Tender Manager, you will engage with clients during the tender process as the main point of contact. Further to this, you will engage with relevant subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate cost inputs to tenders. Furthermore, you will present and defend the proposed commercial package during tender approval meetings. You will also be responsible for the hand-over process to the project team once the contract is signed. Your main tasks include: • Taking ownership of the tender process, acting as the commercial lead and ensuring compliance with client requirements and that all process steps and gates outlined in the Cadeler Tender Process Manual are completed. • Preparing, developing, and delivering all commercial aspects of the tender package, including the commercial strategy, pricing, risk analysis, risk allocation, schedules, qualifications/deviations, and all supporting documentation, while leading the commercial workstream and contract negotiations with the client. • Coordinating the tender process, ensuring milestones are met and proactively resolving challenges along the way. • Communicating significant changes or developments to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. • Collaborating closely with Contract Management and the Legal teams to prepare and align on the contractual, legal and commercial position for negotiations and working in partnership with them throughout the contract negotiation process to achieve the best possible outcome. • Leading the approval process for tenders and contract agreements, ensuring all required approvals are obtained from Executive Management. • Contributing to the development of client relationships and supporting Cadeler's expansion into global markets. We are looking for a structured profile, who has an analytical mindset and enjoys working with tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who: • Hold a BSc degree (or higher) in a commercial discipline (advantageous) or engineering. • Bring at least two years of relevant industry experience, including exposure to commercial and contractual topics. We also welcome applications from senior professionals with extensive expertise. • Possess proven experience in contract negotiations and stakeholder management. • Have a good understanding of WTIV operations and vessel limitations (advantageous). • Are confident using standard Microsoft Office tools. • Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
