Job Description:
Recruit UK are working with a leading Financial Planning firm to recruit a remote-based T&C Manager to support advisers across the South West (Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business experiencing significant growth through strategic expansion. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing advisers, supporting trainees through to CAS, and ensuring high standards of adviser competency across the business.
You will take ownership of a portfolio of advisers, acting as a trusted coach and supervisor while working closely with advisers, compliance teams, and internal stakeholders. This is a relationship-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring, developing talent, and making a positive impact on adviser careers.
The role is remote-based, with regular travel across your region required to build strong relationships and provide face-to-face support with advisers.
Duties:
• Act as first-line supervisor for advisers across varying levels of experience
• Support journeys to CAS
• Complete competency assessments, role plays, live observations, and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure advisers are supervised in line with the firm's T&C framework
• Deliver training interventions and coaching sessions for development
• Review KPIs to identify opportunities / agree appropriate CPD plans
• Support the creation and improvement of training materials and procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA requirements, legislation, and industry standards

Skills and Experience Required:
• Current experience working within a Training & Competence role within Financial Services
• Level 4 Qualification (minimum) advanced (desirable)
• Experience supervising and developing advisers across pensions, investments, and protection
• Strong understanding of Financial Planning and delivering client-focused advice
• Proven coaching and mentoring experience
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
• Understanding of complaints procedures, financial crime, GDPR, and relevant legislation
• Experience reviewing and improving policies, procedures, and training materials
