Transport Administrator (Nights) Location: Stanford-le-Hope Salary: £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday – Night Shift Full-Time Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking for your next opportunity in transport and logistics? We're recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced transport operation in Stanford-le-Hope. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily transport operations. If you have previous administration experience, enjoy working in a fast-moving environment, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the transport team with a range of administrative and operational tasks, ensuring drivers, warehouse teams and internal departments work together efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Conduct driver pre-briefs before the start of each shift • Complete driver de-briefs and collect all relevant documentation • Scan, file and maintain accurate transport paperwork • Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure vehicles are loaded on schedule • Provide administrative support to the Transport Office • Support the Shift First Line Manager (FLM) with day-to-day operations • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally • Communicate with internal departments, including off-site Customer Service teams • Ensure transport documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures • Help maintain an efficient and compliant transport operation What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is: • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Confident communicating with drivers, warehouse teams and colleagues • Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure • Proactive, reliable and able to use their own initiative • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems • Previous administration, transport or logistics experience is desirable, but not essential What's in it for You? • £14.00 per hour • Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekend shifts • Stable, full-time position • Friendly and supportive working environment • Opportunity to develop your career within the transport and logistics industry If you're looking for a new challenge within a successful and growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
