Transport Planner - Up to £32,960 - Doncaster Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a hugely successful and growing business who are looking to recruit a Transport Planner to join their team. This newly created role will suit someone who enjoys solving problems, planning efficient routes and working closely with colleagues to keep operations moving. Working Hours / Key Benefits • Monday – Friday 11am - 7pm • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays • Private Healthcare (after completion of probation) • Modern working environment within a new facility • Pension The Role As a Transport Planner, you will plan and coordinate the movement of products from the Doncaster site to customers and distribution points. You will work with warehouse teams, drivers and third party partners to keep deliveries efficient, compliant and cost effective. Main responsibilities include: • Develop and deliver transport schedules to achieve timely deliveries • Optimise routes to support performance and cost efficiency • Monitor live transport activity and resolve delivery issues • Liaise with internal teams and external transport partners • Align transport plans with warehouse dispatch • Maintain accurate transport documentation • Support cost control and suggest improvements to transport strategy The Person • Experience in transport planning or logistics • Strong knowledge of UK geography and route planning systems • Clear communication skills • Good knowledge of MS Office and transport management software • Awareness of health and safety and transport compliance requirements About Elevation Elevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
