Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Assessor on behalf of our client, a reputable and accredited workshop located in Attleborough. Benefits of a Vehicle Damage Assessor: • Competitive salary up to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience • Opportunities for overtime and career advancement • Work within a state-of-the-art, BS10125 accredited workshop • Supportive team environment with ongoing professional training • Excellent working conditions in a convenient Attleborough location • Chance to work with a diverse range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models • Contribute to a well-established and reputable operation Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor: • Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and industry regulations • Utilise estimating software such as Audatex to prepare accurate repair estimates • Source and interpret repair techniques and technical data using recognised platforms • Identify and account for additional repairs and works as needed during the repair process • Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency • Assist Parts Supervisor in managing parts ordering and receipt to minimise delays • Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment • Apply technical knowledge and estimating skills to deliver high-quality damage assessments • Stay informed on emerging repair techniques and vehicle types, including electric and hybrid vehicles Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor: • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator • Familiarity with estimating platforms, such as Audatex • Sound understanding of vehicle repair methods and technical data sourcing • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills • Valid VDA qualification is desirable but not essential • Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus • Own transport is required due to limited public transport options in the area If you are an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor seeking to advance your career within a reputable Attleborough workshop, we want to hear from you.
