Our Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties whilst constantly being cool, calm and always polite, making sure that every customer is having a great time. You will be a great team player and to be able to effectively communicate with Kitchen Staff to make sure everything is going swimmingly Ultimately, it is the duty of the Waiters/Waitresses to provide an excellent overall experience for each and every one of our guests. Responsibilities and Duties: • meet and greet our customers • present menu and provide detailed information when asked • ensure the front of house is clean and tidy • inform customers about the day’s specials • operating the till and handling money • serve food and drink orders efficiently • check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems • carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to the kitchen area for cleaning • follow all relevant Health & Safety regulations • provide excellent customer service always Essential Requirements: Waiting tables is not about food and drink delivery to tables. It is about customer service. Excellent service and make a good meal great and here we want our guests to leave with a smile! Desirable Requirements: • Food Hygiene certificate level 2 or above • Experience in similar workplace • Any previous customer service experience About Our Company: We are a family run coffee shop, ice cream parlour, and restaurant that has been the heart and soul of Aberavon Beachfront since 2005.
