Waking Night Rehabilitation Support Worker Location: Barnsley Salary: £13.45 per hour Job Types: Part-time, Permanent We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals as they recover and relearn skills after they have had an accident or injury. If you have a passion to help others this could be a good fit for you. The role: We're looking for a proactive person to join our rehabilitation service on nights. Our service in Worsborough is a high-quality environment, with a focus on developing people. We provide a great induction with supportive shadowing and further development opportunities. The role is for 30 hours per week from 10pm until 8am and the shifts are on a rota, including some weekends. Training will be during day-time hours. The ideal candidate would be happy working both on their own and within a team, be proactive and have a good sense of humour. The team are really friendly, welcoming and supportive and there are fabulous training and development opportunities. The waking night team support individuals to develop a good sleep/ wake cycle, and offer reassurance and support overnight. This role also involves all aspects of personal care, cleaning duties and some paperwork to prepare the service for the next day. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we support!
