Job description

Macildowie Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics Warehouse Manager – Up to £40,000 Per Annum – Nottingham Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Macildowie Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics has exclusively partnered with a manufacturing organisation based in Nottingham to recruit a Warehouse Manager. The key objective is to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory accuracy, lead a team and ensure efficient distribution processes. Main Responsibilities • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing of products. • Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory accuracy, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. • Lead and collaborate with warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance review. • Develop and implement warehouse operating procedures and standards to optimize efficiency and productivity. • Carry out thorough inventory management practices, including accurate tracking of stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and coordinating with purchasing and logistics teams to maintain adequate inventory levels. • Manage warehouse equipment and facilities, including routine maintenance and repairs, to ensure optimal functionality. • Forklift activities – loading/unloading/receiving/replenishment. • Ensure accurate data is entered into the WMS. • Adhere to all warehousing handling and shipping legislation requirements. • Maintain standards of Health and Safety, Hygiene and Security throughout the warehouse, including key holder responsibilities. The Candidate • Previous experience operating in Warehouse Manager roles or similar. • Familiar with WMS systems. • Experience operating forklifts. • Able to travel to Nottingham. • Excellent communication skills.
