Hue Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful organisation in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative who is looking for job security, career progression, and the chance to become part of a supportive team. The Role As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently • Scanning products and updating stock movements using handheld scanners and internal systems • Supporting the receipt and storage of incoming deliveries • Ensuring products are stored correctly and accurately for traceability • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment • Working closely with colleagues to meet operational targets What We're Looking For • Previous warehouse experience is essential • Experience using handheld scanners is desirable • A positive attitude and strong work ethic • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Commitment to health and safety procedures Benefits • £26,750 annual salary • Additional £1,000 salary increase once trained on machinery • One-stage face-to-face interview • Overtime paid at time and a half • Monday to Friday working pattern – no regular weekends • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays • Christmas shutdown • One free physio session per month • Uniform and safety boots supplied • Company pension scheme • Bonus scheme • Sick pay following probation • Free on-site parking • Genuine opportunities for training and career progression • Immediate start available If you're looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a company that invests in its people, we'd love to hear from you.
