Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative - Tyseley, Birmingham People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Tyseley, Birmingham on a full-time temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable manufacturing operation. This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Production Operative, Factory Worker or Order Picker. Shifts: • Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 – £12.71 per hour • Monday to Friday 10:30 – 19:00 – £13.00 per hour • Monday to Friday 13:30 – 22:00 – £13.79 per hour Benefits: As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive: • Twenty-three days holiday plus bank holidays • Overtime paid at one and a half times • Free on-site parking • Modern facilities with excellent canteen • Ongoing training and career progression opportunities Day-to-Day Duties: As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: • Measuring and cutting products to customer specifications • Assembling and manufacturing items • Using hand tools and measuring equipment • Picking materials and preparing customer orders • Quality checking finished products • Packing completed orders ready for dispatch • Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment • Working as part of a busy production and warehouse team to meet daily targets Essential Skills: To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need: • Previous experience within a warehouse or production environment • Confidence using measuring equipment and working accurately • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to carry out regular heavy lifting and manual handling • A positive attitude and strong work ethic • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team Training: • Full training provided • Ongoing development support Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity as a Warehouse Operative, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
