Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our client's growing team in Braintree.
Responsibilities
• Handling materials efficiently, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and stock organisation
• Managing shipping and receiving processes
• Utilising warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks
• Supporting overall warehouse operations to meet daily productivity targets
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and warehouse management systems is advantageous
• SAP system knowledge is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and quality control
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
