Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities Goods In & Out • Receive incoming deliveries, check quantities, and report any discrepancies • Ensure all delivery paperwork is processed and passed to the Warehouse Manager • Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and store goods • Prepare and load courier collections each day, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate Picking & Stock Control • Accurately pick and pack customer orders • Dispatch goods with the correct paperwork and packaging • Maintain organised storage by sorting and stacking stock neatly • Monitor stock levels and report low stock to management Housekeeping • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse at all times • Carry out regular cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, and waste removal General Duties • Assist with answering phones and taking messages when required • Prepare sample packs as needed • Support the wider team with ad hoc duties to meet business needs About You • Previous warehouse experience preferred • Valid forklift licence (desirable) • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Good organisational skills • Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to help • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
