Electronic Assembler Location: Newbury 13.95/hr Hours: 7:30 - 16:00 Contract: Temporary Join a Leading Electronics Manufacturing Team! Are you an experienced assembler with a passion for precision and quality? Do you take pride in producing high-standard electronic assemblies and thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment? We're looking for a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our growing production team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of electronic products, utilise your soldering expertise, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality assemblies for our customers. What You'll Be Doing As an Electronic Assembler, you'll play a vital role in the production process, ensuring products are built accurately and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: Hand soldering Through Hole Technology (THT) components onto PCB assemblies Supporting Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering and rework activities Carrying out in-process inspections, including: • Tacking inspections • First-off inspections • Quality checks on assemblies completed by colleagues Reworking THT and SMT components where required Preparing, processing, and assembling wires and cable assemblies Operating selective soldering equipment for THT assemblies Following build instructions and technical documentation accurately Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Strong hand soldering experience and a high standard of workmanship Previous experience within electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly The ability to read and interpret work instructions and assembly documentation Excellent attention to detail and quality standards The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively A flexible and positive attitude with a strong work ethic Good reliability and a commitment to achieving production targets Desirable Skills Experience with J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) Experience with both THT and SMT assembly processes Previous inspection or quality control experience within electronics manufacturing What's in It for You?
