Job Description • Contract Type: Permanent – 15 / 16 / 40 Hours Per Week • Days of Work: Multiple Different Days of work • Hours of Work: Various Different Start Times This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key Duties Include: • Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy • Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!) • Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time • Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment • Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly • Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives • Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift You'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE Qualifications What You Bring to the Team • The Hustle: You’ve got a strong work ethic and love hitting targets. • Team Player: You love working as part of a close knit supportive team • Reliability: You show up and give it 100%. • Values: You’re honest, respectful, and care about the service you provide. • Physicality: You’re comfortable lifting and staying on your feet.
