Warehouse Operative – Raunds
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates and genuine opportunities for career progression.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Goods In Operative or Order Picker.
Shifts:
• Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:30
• Ad-hoc shifts: 08:30 – 17:00
Rates of Pay:
£13.27 – £18.55 per hour (depending on skills)

Day to Day Duties:
As a Warehouse Operative, your day to day duties are:
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks
• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries (goods in)
• Preparing and labelling goods ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
• Ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times
• Using hand-held scanners and other equipment where required
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a Warehouse Operative are:
• Basic level of English (spoken and written)
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Positive and proactive attitude
Desirable Experience
• Previous warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential as full training is provided)
• Experience using hand-held scanners or similar equipment
Training:
• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
