Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Weighbridge & Front of House Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced operation. This is a diverse role offering the perfect balance of hands-on site involvement and office-based responsibilities. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm. Saturday, 7:00am - 11.30am. As a Weighbridge/HSEQ Site Support, you will be responsible for: • Weighbridge Operation / Coordination Goods In - Tipping, Inspection, Reporting • Quality Exception Reporting • Weighbridge Operation / Coordination Goods Out - Containers, Tilter, Export Requirements, Waste, Bulk • Photograph inbound and outbound loads as required (via RECY) / Fulfil export requirements • Daily diary - all daily & weekly checks to be completed in line with requirements • Adherence to HSE standards • Adherence to PPE requirements • Weekly odour and fly reporting • Control of Fire Logbook including completion and testing (fire extinguisher/emergency lighting) • Fire extinguishers - ensure all in situ - report discharged / damaged and control spares • Site visitors / contractors – induction, sign in/out • Production Reporting • Batching Coordination • Assay Completion & Reporting • Knowledge of Tilter Operations & Maintenance Procedure • New starter - onboarding & inductions of WB Team • Staff Management re Timecards, Holiday, Illness, Rota, Return to Work, Disciplinaries, Training & Development (including SSOW, RA, COSHH & TBTs) • Overview / Complete monthly first aid box checks The ideal candidate has experience with: • Previous experience within a weighbridge, recycling, waste, logistics or industrial environment. • Strong organisational and administrative skills. • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. • Experience supervising or leading a small team. • A proactive approach to health, safety and compliance. • The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
