Welder Farnborough £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Our client, based in Farnborough, is seeking an experienced and motivated MIG/TIG Welder to join their growing Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator with a strong background in thin-gauge aluminium welding who takes pride in producing high-quality work to demanding engineering standards. Welder Roles and Responsibilities: • Carry out high-quality MIG and TIG welding on thin-gauge aluminium (1.5mm–6mm) • Fabricate, assemble and weld complex components • Read and interpret from engineering drawings • Set up and safely operate welding equipment, hand tools and fabrication machinery • Prepare, clean and finish completed fabrications ready for further production processes • Inspect finished work using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers to ensure quality standards are met • Work to production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality Welder Ideal Candidate: • Experience with MIG and TIG welding • A minimum of 4 year’s fabrication experience • Experience working with thin-gauge aluminium • Extensive fabrication experience involving complex builds and assemblies • Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel • Ability to confidently read and interpret complex engineering drawings • Experience using inspection and measuring equipment • Strong attention to detail Welder Working Hours: • Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm • Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
