OFF-CYCLE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME Programme Description LionTree offers a 6-month off-cycle internship programme within our investment banking advisory team in London, for final year university students and recent graduates. The team focuses on dealmaking across media, technology, and telecommunications (TMT) in Europe. As an off-cycle intern, you will gain direct exposure to some of the most active dealmaking in the sector, fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of our deal teams. The programme is designed to provide a realistic view of our full-time Investment Banking Analyst Programme, with strong performers considered for a full-time Analyst offer. As an off-cycle intern, you will have the opportunity to: • Obtain a strong foundation in financial analysis through training from LionTree professionals as well as third-party providers • Have the opportunity to work on live client assignments alongside LionTree deal teams • Attend firm events where you will learn about LionTree and the industry • Access to an invaluable peer network as well as senior firm leaders Job Description • Work collaboratively in a high-performing team to create financial and economic analysis that can be presented to CEOs, CFOs, Boards of prospective companies and Senior Executives of Financial Sponsors • Assist in or perform complex analytical tasks, including financial modelling, historical financial analysis, and valuation assessments • Assist in the preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other strategic materials • Conduct industry and company research to support live deal execution • Coordinate and conduct business due diligence Personal Attributes and Competencies • Previous Internship experience in M&A, Private Equity or related roles would be preferrable • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field • Outstanding academic track-record • Strong analytical, accounting and numerical skills • Strong attention to detail • Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication, especially when working in a team under tight deadlines • Proactive, self-starter - able to work independently and take ownership of tasks delegated • Fluency (in written and verbal) in English Additional Details • Location: Mayfair, London • Salary: Very competitive • Start date: 11 January 2027
