Yard Operative (Temp to Perm) Cheltenham Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 Contract: Temp to Perm Pertemps are recruiting for a Yard Operative on behalf of a well-established and growing client. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering full-time hours and long-term job security for the right candidate. This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on, physically active position and is comfortable carrying out manual handling duties, picking and packing orders, and supporting the day-to-day running of the yard and warehouse operation. Key Responsibilities Picking and packing orders accurately for customer dispatch Preparing, organising and loading orders ready for collection and delivery Carrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties throughout the day Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently Cleaning and washing products and equipment as required Inspecting items to ensure they meet quality standards before dispatch Organising stock and maintaining storage areas Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy yard and warehouse environment Carrying out general yard and warehouse duties as required The Ideal Candidate Reliable, punctual and hardworking Comfortable with physical work, including frequent lifting and manual handling Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, picking, packing or logistics environment is desirable but not essential Good attention to detail and accuracy when preparing orders Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as required Able to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic What's on Offer Weekly pay during the temporary period Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunity to gain permanent employment Long-term career opportunity with a growing business Apply Today Pertemps Gloucester Unit 4A, Elmbridge Court Cheltenham Road East Gloucester, GL3 1JZ Open Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
