Yard / General Plant OperativeLocation: Deeside Pay: £13.39 per hour + £10 shift allowance Hours: 40 hours per week (rotating shifts) A well-established and reputable industrial business is seeking a reliable and experienced Yard / General Plant Operative to join their team at their Deeside site. This is a great opportunity to join a busy operation with consistent hours and the opportunity for overtime. The RoleThis is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced yard environment. Duties will include: • Loading and unloading curtain sider vehicles and containers • Stock rotation and material handling • Conducting daily equipment checks • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard (housekeeping) • Operating plant machinery in line with safety standards Working HoursThis role operates on a rotating shift pattern: • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm Pay & Benefits • £13.39 per hour • £10 shift allowance • Overtime available at weekends and occasionally during weekdays • Full-time, 40 hours per week Requirements • Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence preferred, or • Alternative plant machinery licences (e.g. loading shovel, telehandler, 360 excavator) • Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or industrial environment • Ability to work rotating shifts • Strong awareness of health and safety practices • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented About the CompanyOur client is a well-established organisation operating within the industrial and logistics sector, known for its commitment to safety, operational excellence, and employee stability.
