Job Opportunity: Year 1 Teacher Job Type: Long- Term Supply Location: North- West Birmingham School type: Primary School Start Date: September 2026 One of our primary schools located in Great Barrr is currently looking for a committed year 1 teacher that will work full- time from September 2026. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain more experience in the classroom. The successful candidate will already possess a QTS and will ideally have prior experience in a year 1 classroom. Key responsibilities of a Year 1 Teacher include: • Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils • Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum and tailored to the needs of year 1 pupils • Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND • Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent • A great relevant understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum • Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service) • Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed If the role of being a Year 1 Teacher interets you, please do not hesitate to contact Alina at Academics LTD on or alternatively apply through this advert.
