Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher to join a thriving and and passionate staff team within a primary school based in Pendle Lancashire.

This is a full time role and are looking for a teaching that has covered recent phonics teachiing. The school is a well-established and inclusive setting with a strong reputation for supporting pupils' academic and personal development and they want to continue to grow the development within Key stage 1 making sure each student is progessing, achieving targets.
The school provides a nurturing environment with a supportive leadership team and a strong focus on early Key Stage 1 learning. Pupils are encouraged to develop confidence and independence as they progress through Year 1.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons
• Support early reading, writing and phonics development
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Have high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
