360 Machine Operator (waste)

Workshop Recruitment is working with a well-established, family-run recycling business looking to add a reliable 360 Machine Operator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator or someone with experience operating small plant machinery looking to develop within the waste and recycling industry. The successful 360 Machine Operator will support daily recycling operations, ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently while helping the site meet production targets. Key Responsibilities • Operate 360 machinery and associated plant safely and efficiently • Feed processing plant and load HGVs • Support waste sorting and recycling operations • Carry out pre-sorting duties to maximise throughput • Report machinery defects and maintenance issues promptly • Work closely with Supervisors and site teams daily • Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times • Assist with incident reporting and investigations when required Skills & Experience Required • Previous experience as a 360 Machine Operator or operating small plant machinery • Relevant plant tickets or machinery certifications preferred • Knowledge of waste and recycling operations • Full UK driving licence • Strong awareness of site safety and environmental standards • Positive attitude with willingness to support team members • Good communication and teamwork skills • Right to work in the UK is essential What’s on Offer • £15.00 per hour • Free accommodation • Overtime paid at 1.5x during weekdays and weekends • Workplace pension scheme • Life assurance (2x salary) • 28 days holiday including bank holidays • Training and development opportunities • Free onsite parking and company social events
