Senior Accountant | Growing Advisory & Accounting Firm | London (Paddington)An opportunity to join a growing and entrepreneurial accounting and consulting firm in a broad, hands-on Senior Accountant role. Working across a diverse client base, you'll take ownership of management accounts, bookkeeping, reporting and compliance, while acting as a key point of contact for clients. This is a varied position offering genuine responsibility and broad exposure across multiple areas of accounting. Working closely with teams across the UK and UAE, you'll support a range of accounting requirements while helping improve processes and ways of working. About the role:* Preparation and review of management accounts * Hands-on bookkeeping and oversight of accounting accuracy * Supporting year-end processes and audit coordination * Acting as a key contact for client queries and accounting matters * Supporting VAT, compliance and wider finance requirements * Helping improve reporting, processes and efficiency About you:* 5+ years' accounting experience within practice or industry * Strong bookkeeping and management accounting experience * Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong Excel and cloud accounting systems experience (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage) * Strong communicator with a client-focused approach * Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership Why apply?* Broad, hands-on role with real responsibility * Exposure to a diverse and interesting client base * Opportunity to join a growing business * Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment * Exposure to international teams and varied accounting work An excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant looking for a broad role with genuine variety and responsibility.
