Accounts Portfolio Manager Central London Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE) Our client, a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Accounts Portfolio Manager to join their friendly and collaborative team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio within a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice. As an Accounts Portfolio Manager, you will deliver a broad range of accounting, tax, compliance, and advisory services while building long-term client relationships, managing your own portfolio with autonomy, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm within a collaborative and supportive environment. The responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact • Prepare and review year-end accounts and financial statements • Complete personal and corporate tax returns • Provide proactive accounting and tax advice • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships • Manage workloads to ensure deadlines and compliance are met • Review work produced by junior team members • Mentor and support the development of junior colleagues • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies • Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice The candidate: • ACA or ACCA qualified with accountancy practice experience • Proven experience managing a client portfolio independently • Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads autonomously If you would like to know more about this Accounts Portfolio Manager opportunity, please get in touch with James Withington here at Lloyd Barnes Recruitment.
