Administration and Recruitment Manager • Job Type: Full-time, 3 Month FTC, Monday - Friday 8-4/9-5. • Location: Peterborough • Salary: 30K Join a dedicated organisation in the social care sector providing accommodation and support to young people aged 16–17 years who are in the care of the Local Authority. We are seeking an Administration and Recruitment Manager to work as part of our Senior Management Team. This role is pivotal in supporting service delivery by working closely with the Company Director and Operations and Finance Manager, focusing on Administration and Compliance as well as Recruitment and HR. Day to Day of the Role • Maintain operational databases related to staff, young people, homes, and compliance information. • Prepare documentation for Local Authority Monitoring visits, QA checks, and regulation criteria for Ofsted. • Lead a team to monitor provisions to ensure compliance with best practice and safeguarding matters. • Manage GDPR monitoring and lead on ICO breach reporting. • Take a lead role in the sourcing and recruitment process, ensuring safe vetting and comprehensive onboarding of new staff. • Provide regular updates to internal departments and external agencies regarding staff-related information. • Assist in HR processes including investigations, disciplinary matters, and training of new and existing employees. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). • Professional and discreet, capable of handling confidential and sensitive information. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Highly motivated and organised, with a sharp eye for detail. • Confident in communicating with managers, staff, and external organisations. • Comfortable with databases, spreadsheets, and learning new systems quickly. • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
