Regional Aftersales Manager Location: Scotland (Field Based) Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Company Vehicle + Benefits About the Company Our client is a well-established international automotive organisation with a strong focus on customer experience, retailer performance, and operational excellence. With ambitious plans for the future and continued investment in its UK operations, the business is seeking an experienced Regional Aftersales Manager to support retailer partners across Scotland. The Role This is a field-based position requiring a strong blend of relationship management, customer experience expertise, and commercial awareness. You will work closely with retailer management teams to improve operational standards, enhance customer satisfaction, and deliver measurable business performance improvements. Key Responsibilities Retailer Relationship Management • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailer partners across the region. • Support retailers in achieving operational, customer, and commercial objectives. • Provide coaching, support, and constructive challenge where required. • Act as a trusted business partner and key point of contact. Customer Experience • Support the resolution of complex customer issues and escalations. • Work with retailers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction and customer journey performance. • Promote best practice across the network. Aftersales Performance • Monitor and analyse key aftersales performance indicators. • Support retailers in achieving service, parts, and customer retention targets. • Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans. • Encourage consistent delivery of operational standards and processes. Warranty & Technical Support • Collaborate with technical and warranty teams to support retailer performance. • Assist retailers in understanding and adhering to warranty processes. • Identify operational challenges and help implement effective solutions. Network Audits & Compliance • Conduct regular retailer visits across the region. • Review operational standards, customer experience delivery, and process compliance. • Provide recommendations and monitor progress against agreed action plans. • Support ongoing improvements across the retailer network. Essential Requirements • Previous experience in an automotive aftersales, dealer development, field operations, or regional management role. • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities. • Experience analysing performance data and delivering measurable improvements. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. • Strong organisational and planning skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools. • Full UK driving licence. • Willingness to travel throughout Scotland. Desirable Experience • Experience working with franchise dealer networks. • Knowledge of aftersales operations, service, parts, warranty, or customer care functions. • Experience delivering performance improvement programmes. • Automotive manufacturer or dealer group background.
