Job description

People, Payroll & Systems Manager Glasgow | Hybrid Working | Up to £60,000 + Benefits People are at the heart of this organisation's success. Supporting some of the world's leading brands, our client is a people-focused business that understands great customer experiences begin with engaged and supported employees. They are seeking a People, Payroll & Systems Manager to play a key role in shaping how the People function operates. This is more than a payroll leadership position; it's an opportunity to influence the future of payroll, HR systems, reward and people data across the organisation. Reporting to the Group People Director, you'll lead a small team responsible for delivering complex UK & Ireland payroll, overseeing HR systems, reward administration and people data. While payroll expertise will be central to your success, the business is looking for someone who can bring a broader operational and strategic perspective. You'll identify opportunities to improve processes, challenge whether existing systems remain fit for purpose, use data and insights to support decision making, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the People function. Working closely with the wider People Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence key projects and help shape future people strategies. What You'll Bring You'll have strong payroll leadership experience and be comfortable remaining close enough to the detail to provide guidance and support when required. Equally, you'll enjoy looking ahead, driving improvements and finding more effective ways of working. Experience across HR systems, people data and reward administration will be important, along with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Most importantly, you'll thrive in an environment that balances operational excellence with continuous improvement and collaborative working. Why Apply? This is an opportunity to join a collaborative organisation where your ideas will be welcomed and your expertise genuinely valued. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of payroll, systems, reward and people data, while working in an environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement and partnership across the business. If you're looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact, influence the direction of the People function and combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
