Job description

Key Responsibilities Governance, Quality and Compliance Act as the PCN lead for CQC registration and ongoing regulatory compliance. Coordinate all activities required to support successful CQC registration, inspection readiness and ongoing compliance. Develop, implement and maintain governance systems, policies, procedures and assurance frameworks across the PCN. Maintain a comprehensive repository of evidence to demonstrate compliance with regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements. Lead the coordination of compliance action plans and monitor progress against agreed actions. Manage policy review schedules and ensure governance documentation remains up to date. Maintain and monitor organisational risk registers, action logs and assurance records. Coordinate internal audits, quality reviews and compliance assessments. Produce governance and compliance reports for the PCN Manager, Clinical Director and Board. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives across PCN services. Payroll and Workforce Administration Lead the monthly payroll submission process, ensuring information is accurate and submitted within required timescales. Maintain workforce records, employment documentation and personnel databases. Monitor annual leave, absence, mandatory training, DBS renewals and workforce compliance requirements. Coordinate recruitment administration, onboarding and induction processes. Maintain workforce reporting information and provide regular workforce data to support management decisions. Act as a point of contact for routine payroll and workforce administration queries. Support the maintenance of workforce policies, records and systems. Coordinate the collection, validation and submission of contractual and organisational returns. Workforce Development and Training Coordinate the delivery and monitoring of training and development activities across the PCN. Maintain accurate training records and ensure mandatory training requirements are monitored and reported. Develop and maintain a PCN-wide training matrix and compliance dashboard. Monitor statutory and mandatory training compliance and escalate concerns where appropriate. Identify upcoming training requirements and support managers in maintaining workforce compliance. Coordinate staff access to learning resources, development opportunities and training programmes. Support the induction process for new starters and maintain induction records. Produce workforce development and training reports for the PCN Manager and Clinical Director. Operational Systems and Service Coordination Maintain and oversee day-to-day PCN operational systems, including EMIS and other digital platforms. Monitor workflows, tasks, messages and shared inboxes, ensuring actions are completed within agreed timescales. Support the allocation and coordination of work across PCN staff and services. Develop and maintain operational processes, trackers and standard operating procedures. Identify and escalate operational issues, risks or system inefficiencies to the PCN Manager. Provide operational support to ensure the smooth running of PCN services and activities.
