Associate Investment Manager (IFA) - Northampton - Up to £60,000 A highly-reputable wealth management practice are seeking an associate Investment Manager/investment analyst to join the team and take over a small client bank. In addition to managing existing clients, you will have the opportunity to work with the firm on acquiring new clients. As a firm they have both a wealth management and asset management arm, so someone with experience in both would be ideal! Key Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed research across asset classes, funds, and market themes • Support the ongoing management of discretionary client portfolios • Prepare client reporting, portfolio reviews, and investment updates • Support client and adviser meetings where appropriate • Monitor portfolio positioning, risk exposures, and performance Requirements: • Experience within wealth or asset management (typically 2–5 years) • Exposure to discretionary portfolio management and/or investment research • Good understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and portfolio construction • Progress towards or completion of CISI Level 7 (or equivalent) Benefits: • Pension contributions matched at 6% (increases to 8% after successful probation) • PMI, PHI, and Death in Service schemes after probation • Onsite parking and gym facilities • Holiday trading • Cash plans • Childcare vouchers • Employee assistance program (EAP) • Cycle to work schemes • Dental Insurance • Travel Insurance • Discount / purchase schemes • 25 days holidays plus bank holidays Working Environment: There is no work-from-home policy, as the Investment and Wealth Managers are actively leading their pods, have supervisory and management responsibilities, and need to be in the office when not meeting with clients.
