Audit & Accounts Senior Stockport Circa £38,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience) Clark Wood are pleased to be partnering with a prestigious and leading North West firm of chartered accountants as they seek to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior for their Stockport office. This role offers a excellent opportunity to work with a wide array of clients across various industries. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll undertake a mixed role which will see you leading audit assignments from planning to completion as well as preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns. The workload will be evenly split between audit and accounts work. Joining this renowned firm in Stockport, you’ll join a firm known for its commitment to employee development. Responsibilities: Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, focusing on group entities, large standalone companies, and not-for-profits. Prepare and review year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit objectives. Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and contributing to their professional development. Undertake corporation tax compliance work in conjunction with audit and accounts responsibilities. Skills: ACA / ACCA Qualified or nearing completion of qualifications. Proven experience in a mixed audit and accounts role, including leading audit assignments.
