We are currently recruiting for an Autism Practitioner to join a dedicated respite service We are representing a fantastic organisation that works tirelessly to ensure autistic people are understood and enabled to lead meaningful, fulfilling, and happy lives as valued members of the community Here is a breakdown of the role: The Location: The role is based at the Clannalba service in Lamington Village, near Biggar, and involves a mix of office and community-based work The Pay: You will earn £15ph Rolled Up The Schedule: There are full-time and part-time positions available across 4 FTE roles The shift pattern covers days and evenings, including weekends, so flexibility is key You will also participate in an on-call rota depending on your development stage and location The Role: You will support autistic adults with a wide range of interests, strengths, and complex needs to help them live fulfilling lives Reporting to the Senior Autism Practitioner, you will act as a Keyworker, create and follow outcome-based support plans, lead review meetings, and ensure the service promotes safeguarding and best practice Key Requirements: You must be registered with the SSSC (or willing to work towards a relevant qualification) and be a member of the PVG scheme Because of the rural location of this service, holding a driving licence and having access to a vehicle is highly preferred You should also be a skilled communicator, be confident using IT systems, and be ready to embody the organisation's core values: Compassion, Contribution, Collaboration, and being a Change Maker Let me know if you are interested.
