A dynamic and growing SEN school in Brixton is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Worker to join their team and support pupils in a nurturing, well-equipped environment in September 2026. As an Autism Support Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils with autism and complex needs. You'll work in a structured, supportive classroom setting, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups • Delivering engaging, personalised activities • Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills • Helping to maintain a calm and positive learning environment Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who: • Has experience with (or a strong understanding of) ASD and complex needs • Is patient, empathetic, and approachable • Feels confident working both one-to-one and within a classroom • Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues • Is passionate about supporting children with SEN Experience is helpful but not essential - attitude, commitment, and willingness to learn are just as important. • Experience as an Autism Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, or similar role (preferred) • A genuine interest in supporting children with autism and SEN • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Reeson Education: Reeson Education is England's Premier Recruitment Agency.
